Voice of Warning

After the testimonies of Judah that the God of Israel is the only true and living God of the whole earth, and that Jesus of Nazareth is his Only Begotten Son, the Redeemer of mankind, the promised Messiah, who was crucified for the sins of the world and who rose from the dead after three days, and after this testimony of Judah was confirmed by the testimony of Joseph, which was sent forth from the earth, as righteousness was sent down from heaven, to bear testimony of the Only Begotten Son of God; his resurrection from the dead; and also the resurrection of all men, men are left without excuse.

The Lord has declared that he will cause righteousness and truth to sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out his elect from the four quarters of the earth, unto a place which he shall prepare, an Holy City, that his people may gird up their loins, and be looking forth for the time of his coming; for there shall be his tabernacle, and it shall be called Zion, a New Jerusalem.

The knowledge of these things cannot be ignored with impunity. It has come first unto the Gentiles for the express purpose that from them it might go unto the children of Jacob who have erred in spirit that they might now come to understanding and that those who murmured might now learn true doctrine, and that they might know that the Lord’s work, his strange work, his act, his strange act, will turn the ways of evil upside down, that “the meek also [might] increase, and their joy [might] be in the Lord, and the poor among men [might] rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For assuredly as the Lord liveth they shall see that the terrible one is brought to naught, and the scorner is consumed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off; And they that make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of naught.”

Consequently, men everywhere must be warned that they may escape the judgments to come. The Lord says:

Hearken, O ye people of my church, saith the voice of him who dwells on high, and whose eyes are upon all men; yea, verily I say: Hearken ye people from afar; and ye that are upon the islands of the sea, listen together.
For verily the voice of the Lord is unto all men, and there is none to escape; and there is no eye that shall not see, neither ear that shall not hear, neither heart that shall not be penetrated.
And the rebellious shall be pierced with much sorrow; for their iniquities shall be spoken upon the housetops, and their secret acts shall be revealed.
And the voice of warning shall be unto all people, by the mouths of my disciples, whom I have chosen in these last days.
And they shall go forth and none shall stay them, for I the Lord have commanded them.
Behold, this is mine authority, and the authority of my servants, and my preface unto the book of my commandments, which I have given them to publish unto you, O inhabitants of the earth.
Wherefore, fear and tremble, O ye people, for what I the Lord have decreed in them shall be fulfilled.
And verily I say unto you, that they who go forth, bearing these tidings unto the inhabitants of the earth, to them is power given to seal both on earth and in heaven, the unbelieving and rebellious;
Yea, verily, to seal them up unto the day when the wrath of God shall be poured out upon the wicked without measure—
Unto the day when the Lord shall come to recompense unto every man according to his work, and measure to every man according to the measure which he has measured to his fellow man.
Wherefore the voice of the Lord is unto the ends of the earth, that all that will hear may hear:
Prepare ye, prepare ye for that which is to come, for the Lord is nigh;
And the anger of the Lord is kindled, and his sword is bathed in heaven, and it shall fall upon the inhabitants of the earth.
And the arm of the Lord shall be revealed; and the day cometh that they who will not hear the voice of the Lord, neither the voice of his servants, neither give heed to the words of the prophets and apostles, shall be cut off from among the people;
For they have strayed from mine ordinances, and have broken mine everlasting covenant;
They seek not the Lord to establish his righteousness, but every man walketh in his own way, and after the image of his own god, whose image is in the likeness of the world, and whose substance is that of an idol, which waxeth old and shall perish in Babylon, even Babylon the great, which shall fall.
Wherefore, I the Lord, knowing the calamity which should come upon the inhabitants of the earth, called upon my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and spake unto him from heaven, and gave him commandments;
And also gave commandments to others, that they should proclaim these things unto the world; and all this that it might be fulfilled, which was written by the prophets—
The weak things of the world shall come forth and break down the mighty and strong ones, that man should not counsel his fellow man, neither trust in the arm of flesh—
But that every man might speak in the name of God the Lord, even the Savior of the world;
That faith also might increase in the earth;
That mine everlasting covenant might be established;
That the fulness of my gospel might be proclaimed by the weak and the simple unto the ends of the world, and before kings and rulers.
Behold, I am God and have spoken it; these commandments are of me, and were given unto my servants in their weakness, after the manner of their language, that they might come to understanding.
And inasmuch as they erred it might be made known;
And inasmuch as they sought wisdom they might be instructed;
And inasmuch as they sinned they might be chastened, that they might repent;
And inasmuch as they were humble they might be made strong, and blessed from on high, and receive knowledge from time to time.
And after having received the record of the Nephites, yea, even my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., might have power to translate through the mercy of God, by the power of God, the Book of Mormon.
And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased, speaking unto the church collectively and not individually—
For I the Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance;
Nevertheless, he that repents and does the commandments of the Lord shall be forgiven;
And he that repents not, from him shall be taken even the light which he has received; for my Spirit shall not always strive with man, saith the Lord of Hosts.
And again, verily I say unto you, O inhabitants of the earth: I the Lord am willing to make these things known unto all flesh.
For I am no respecter of persons, and will that all men shall know that the day speedily cometh; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand, when peace shall be taken from the earth, and the devil shall have power over his own dominion.
And also the Lord shall have power over his saints, and shall reign in their midst, and shall come down in judgment upon Idumea, or the world.
Search these commandments, for they are true and faithful, and the prophecies and promises which are in them shall all be fulfilled.
What I the Lord have spoken, I have spoken, and I excuse not myself; and though the heavens and the earth pass away, my word shall not pass away, but shall all be fulfilled, whether by mine own voice or by the voice of my servants, it is the same.
For behold, and lo, the Lord is God, and the Spirit beareth record, and the record is true, and the truth abideth forever and ever. Amen.

With this much understood, the voice of warning to the Gentiles also comes from the native Americans, who are the people of this land who were punished for their sins, by the Gentiles. Now, the Gentiles are ripe in iniquity, and their time to possess this land is up. Click on the image below for more information:

  1. You said on your program that New Jerusalem will come before the Millenium. The Bible says the New Jerusalem will come AFTER the millenium, and that is when the earth shall be destroyed by fire, all shall be made new again, and”God shall wipe all tears from their eyes.” You don’t mention, either, how satan will be bound for that thousand years and be released to tempt the rebbelious once again, and how they will be destroyed. You don’t mention, either, the Rapture., OR the two witnesses, the antichrist, the false prophet. Of course, you can’t mention alot on an hour hangout. I take exception to the “Word of Wisdom” also, for the LDS has made it a commandment, when the prophecy made it a sugeestion, and scripture clearly says one cannot be saved by works but only by faith, and Paul admonishes his followers not to rebuke anyone for what they eat or don’t eat, the days they reverence, for it doesn’t matter. Jesus says, it didn’t matter what one put in their mouth, but what went into their heart. The LDS makes a lot of things commandments that shouldn’t be. Which is wy I was ex-communicated, and why I am not particularly enamoured of their hypocrisy.

    • You are right, the New Jerusalem will come after the millennium: “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” (Rev 21:2) And it will come down after all old things pass away and all things become new. However, we now have more information: The Jaradites had the records of the antediluvians, from which the prophet Ether told the people all things, and one was that the land of America was a choice land, dedicated for the purposes of the Lord, and for the blessing of the house of Israel, especially for the tribe of Joseph, as the house of Joseph was to be built upon this land.

      Ether saw all of this way before Lehi left Jerusalem and he saw that

      8 …they shall build up a holy city unto the Lord, like unto the Jerusalem of old; and they shall no more be confounded, until the end come when the earth shall pass away.

      9 And there shall be a new heaven and a new earth; and they shall be like unto the old save the old have passed away, and all things have become new.

      10 And then cometh the New Jerusalem; and blessed are they who dwell therein, for it is they whose garments are white through the blood of the Lamb; and they are they who are numbered among the remnant of the seed of Joseph, who were of the house of Israel.

      11 And then also cometh the Jerusalem of old; and the inhabitants thereof, blessed are they, for they have been washed in the blood of the Lamb; and they are they who were scattered and gathered in from the four quarters of the earth, and from the north countries, and are partakers of the fulfilling of the covenant which God made with their father, Abraham. (Ether 13:3)

      So, you see, two cities will come down from heaven, one is the city of David, the old Jerusalem, while the other is the city of Joseph, the New Jerusalem. But both exist prior to the coming of Christ. New Jerusalem has yet to be built and old Jerusalem is yet to be rebuilt, but both will persist into the millennium.

      You are right. Hopefully, we will address all those topics eventually.

      The fact that the Word of Wisdom became a requirement is not hard to understand, as the deceit in the hearts of evil men has become more evident, and more deadly. In the days of the pioneers, it was better if the Saints learned not to smoke and drink, but as modern life evolved into the era of mass communication, mechanical transportation and urbanization, in the which the Saints were necessarily immersed, it became obvious that the previous “suggestion” in earlier generations, would have to become a commandment for a number of reasons, for the good and safety of the Saints, especially the upcoming generations, who were exposed far earlier to evil influences without the family safe guards that existed in earlier generations. We do not live in the same religious or physical environment that Paul lived in, and this makes a big difference. It is still true that it’s what comes out of a person that defiles him, but it’s also true that what modern society can put into a person can destroy him.
