An Open Letter to Libertarian and Conservative Talk Show Hosts – Part 2 of 3

In Part 1 of this open letter, I referred to the further light and knowledge, which the God of Israel has sent us, concerning the destiny, or fate, of the Gentiles, who currently possess the land of America.

The Lord has poured down righteousness from heaven and sent forth truth out of the earth, re-establishing his church, preparatory to the promised gathering of his ancient covenant people to the lands of their fathers.

Of course, the Bible makes no direct reference to the land of America, since its existence was kept hidden from the Jews in general. Nevertheless, Isaiah’s prophecies in particular reveal the hand of the Lord in regards to his “vineyard” and his “pleasant plant,” the children of Jacob, which requires him to also speak to the Gentiles, regarding their blessings and their curses, as they relate to the house of Israel, and this necessarily refers to the lands of Israel’s inheritances, including America.

We now know this, because the words of the book that were to become the “vision of all,” according to Isaiah, Chapter 29, have been sent forth out the earth, as voices speaking low out of the dust, as one that hath a familiar spirit; for the Lord God has given unto him power, that he can whisper concerning those who have dwindled in unbelief in this land, even as it were out of the ground; and the speech of their righteous ancestors, which was written long ago, is now whispering to them out of the dust.

And this voice, crying from the dust, declares unto them that the Bible is true, that it is the word of God, that Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah, he who was rejected of the Jews. It testifies that he is the Only Begotten Son of God, who was crucified for the sins of the world and that he rose from the dead, the third day, with healing in his wings for all those who believe in him.

It testifies that his Father sent him that he might be lifted up upon the cross; and after that he had been lifted up upon the cross, that he might draw all men unto him, that as he has been lifted up by men even so should men be lifted up by the Father, to stand before him, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil—

And for this cause he has indeed been lifted up; therefore, according to the power of the Father he will draw all men unto himself, that they may be judged according to their works.

And it shall come to pass, that whoso repents and is baptized in his name shall be filled; and, if he endures to the end, behold, him will he hold guiltless before his Father at that day when he shall stand to judge the world.

And he that endures not unto the end, the same is he that is also hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence they can no more return, because of the justice of the Father.

This is the doctrine of Jesus Christ, which was taught by the Jews to the Gentiles in the Old World, before the great persecution and apostasy of the early Christians, after the apostles fell asleep in Christ.

The Bible records the teachings of the apostles of Christ, the gospel of Christ, which they taught the early Christian converts. It also records that these servants of the Lord were taught and administered to by holy angels of God, who visited them in various situations.

So also the sealed book that Isaiah saw coming forth in the latter days. It records that the prophets of God in ancient America taught their people the gospel of Jesus Christ, and that these servants of God were taught and administered to, from time to time, by the holy angels of God.

Christianity and America in Vision

One of the most marvelous examples of this is recorded by the ancient American prophet named Nephi, who was instructed by an angel of God, concerning the fate of the early Christian church in the Old World, centuries before the birth of Christ, giving him to understand how world events would unfold to fulfill the purposes of God in the latter days. The following excerpt is taken from Nephi’s account:

1 And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me, saying: Look! And I looked and beheld many nations and kingdoms.
2 And the angel said unto me: What beholdest thou? And I said: I behold many nations and kingdoms.
3 And he said unto me: These are the nations and kingdoms of the Gentiles.
4 And it came to pass that I saw among the nations of the Gentiles the formation of a great church.
5 And the angel said unto me: Behold the formation of a church which is most abominable above all other churches, which slayeth the saints of God, yea, and tortureth them and bindeth them down, and yoketh them with a yoke of iron, and bringeth them down into captivity.
6 And it came to pass that I beheld this great and abominable church; and I saw the devil that he was the founder of it.
7 And I also saw gold, and silver, and silks, and scarlets, and fine-twined linen, and all manner of precious clothing; and I saw many harlots.
8 And the angel spake unto me, saying: Behold the gold, and the silver, and the silks, and the scarlets, and the fine-twined linen, and the precious clothing, and the harlots, are the desires of this great and abominable church.
9 And also for the praise of the world do they destroy the saints of God, and bring them down into captivity. (1 Ne 13)

Of course, we now know that “this great and abominable church,” founded by the devil himself, which slayed the saints of God, and tortured them and bound them down, and yoked them with a yoke of iron, and brought them down into captivity, has spread itself across the face of the whole earth, including the Americas, and that its desires for riches, for harlots and for the praise of the world continue unabated to this day.

However, the angel showed Nephi how God would have mercy on the Gentiles unto delivering them from the captivity of their mother countries, by bringing them to the New World, and delivering them from the great power that Satan would have over them, because of the many plain and precious things, including many covenants of the Lord. that would be taken away from the Bible, by the great and abominable church.

The angel explained that because of the many plain and precious things which have been taken out of the Bible, which were plain unto the understanding of the children of men, according to the plainness which is in the Lamb of God—because of these things which are taken away out of the gospel of the Lamb, an exceedingly great many do stumble today, yea, insomuch that Satan has great power over them.

America, the Lord’s Blessing to the Gentiles

Nevertheless, the angel showed Nephi how the merciful work of God, centuries before it happened, would begin to deliver the Gentiles from the awful state of blindness that they would be in, by first turning over to them the promised inheritance of his people, which they would forfeit for a season, by reason of their transgression.

This was to be accomplished, after the Gentiles were established as a free people in the land of America, by bringing forth unto them, in his own power, another witness of his gospel, which would restore many of the most plain and precious parts of the gospel of the Lamb, which have been kept back by that abominable church:

30 … thou beholdest that the Gentiles who have gone forth out of captivity, and have been lifted up by the power of God above all other nations, upon the face of the land which is choice above all other lands, which is the land that the Lord God hath covenanted with thy father that his seed should have for the land of their inheritance; wherefore, thou seest that the Lord God will not suffer that the Gentiles will utterly destroy the mixture of thy seed, which are among thy brethren.
31 Neither will he suffer that the Gentiles shall destroy the seed of thy brethren.
32 Neither will the Lord God suffer that the Gentiles shall forever remain in that awful state of blindness, which thou beholdest they are in, because of the plain and most precious parts of the gospel of the Lamb which have been kept back by that abominable church, whose formation thou hast seen.
33 Wherefore saith the Lamb of God: I will be merciful unto the Gentiles, unto the visiting of the remnant of the house of Israel in great judgment.
34 And it came to pass that the angel of the Lord spake unto me, saying: Behold, saith the Lamb of God, after I have visited the remnant of the house of Israel—and this remnant of whom I speak is the seed of thy father—wherefore, after I have visited them in judgment, and smitten them by the hand of the Gentiles, and after the Gentiles do stumble exceedingly, because of the most plain and precious parts of the gospel of the Lamb which have been kept back by that abominable church, which is the mother of harlots, saith the Lamb—I will be merciful unto the Gentiles in that day, insomuch that I will bring forth unto them, in mine own power, much of my gospel, which shall be plain and precious, saith the Lamb.
35 For, behold, saith the Lamb: I will manifest myself unto thy seed, that they shall write many things which I shall minister unto them, which shall be plain and precious; and after thy seed shall be destroyed, and dwindle in unbelief, and also the seed of thy brethren, behold, these things shall be hid up, to come forth unto the Gentiles, by the gift and power of the Lamb.
36 And in them shall be written my gospel, saith the Lamb, and my rock and my salvation.
37 And blessed are they who shall seek to bring forth my Zion at that day, for they shall have the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost; and if they endure unto the end they shall be lifted up at the last day, and shall be saved in the everlasting kingdom of the Lamb; and whoso shall publish peace, yea, tidings of great joy, how beautiful upon the mountains shall they be. (1 Ne 13)

Columbus Leads the Gentiles

The fulfillment of these prophesies began with the discovery voyage of Christopher Columbus, and the subsequent voyages of Gentiles in greater and greater numbers to the New World, especially with the Christian pilgrimages to North America.

Just as the prophecies foretold, the Gentiles have scattered the former inhabitants of the land and have been established as a free people upon it, and they have been greatly blessed in the New World, above all other nations of the earth, but this is not all: The Lord has sent down righteousness from heaven to them, and he has sent forth truth out of the earth for them, bearing witness of his Only Begotten Son, his resurrection from the dead, as well as the resurrection of all men.

However, as this work has proceeded, through the power of God, and the awful state of blindness has begun to be lifted from the Gentiles, we see the rise of secret combinations, secret cabals, or cartels of the ruling elite among the Gentiles, who say unto the Lord, as it were, “Surely, your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay.”

Indeed, the great and abominable church, whose founder is the devil, is preparing once more to slay, to torture and to bring down into captivity the saints of God, but this too was shown unto the ancient American prophet, as the angel explained to him the great blessing the Lord is bestowing upon the repentant Gentiles:

1 And it shall come to pass, that if the Gentiles shall hearken unto the Lamb of God in that day that he shall manifest himself unto them in word, and also in power, in very deed, unto the taking away of their stumbling blocks—
2 And harden not their hearts against the Lamb of God, they shall be numbered among the seed of thy father; yea, they shall be numbered among the house of Israel; and they shall be a blessed people upon the promised land forever; they shall be no more brought down into captivity; and the house of Israel shall no more be confounded.
3 And that great pit, which hath been digged for them by that great and abominable church, which was founded by the devil and his children, that he might lead away the souls of men down to hell—yea, that great pit which hath been digged for the destruction of men shall be filled by those who digged it, unto their utter destruction, saith the Lamb of God; not the destruction of the soul, save it be the casting of it into that hell which hath no end. (1 Ne 14)

Today, we know only too well how the wicked have dug a great pit for the destruction of men, but what we haven’t been told is that, according to the word of God, this pit shall be filled by those who dug it, unto their utter destruction, while the humble followers of Christ, who repent and are baptized in his name, shall be numbered with the seed of Joseph and be numbered among the house of Israel and blessed forever upon this land of promise.

Well, this is clearly a tremendous promise, a great deliverance and blessing indeed, but how shall it be brought to pass? The angel explained to Nephi:

4 For behold, this is according to the captivity of the devil, and also according to the justice of God, upon all those who will work wickedness and abomination before him.
5 And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me, Nephi, saying: Thou hast beheld that if the Gentiles repent it shall be well with them; and thou also knowest concerning the covenants of the Lord unto the house of Israel; and thou also hast heard that whoso repenteth not must perish.
6 Therefore, wo be unto the Gentiles if it so be that they harden their hearts against the Lamb of God.
7 For the time cometh, saith the Lamb of God, that I will work a great and a marvelous work among the children of men; a work which shall be everlasting, either on the one hand or on the other—either to the convincing of them unto peace and life eternal, or unto the deliverance of them to the hardness of their hearts and the blindness of their minds unto their being brought down into captivity, and also into destruction, both temporally and spiritually, according to the captivity of the devil, of which I have spoken. (1 Ne 14)

Again, the word of the Lord unto us today is repent or perish. Repent of wickedness, repent of abominations, repent of iniquity of every kind. Most assuredly, we must repent of disbelief and hardness of heart, recognizing and embracing the marvelous work of the Lord, by entering into his covenant, the new and everlasting covenant, which the Father makes with all those who come unto him in the name of his Son, and who are baptized for the remission of their sins. The angel explained the importance of understanding this to Nephi in the following words:

8 And it came to pass that when the angel had spoken these words, he said unto me: Rememberest thou the covenants of the Father unto the house of Israel? I said unto him, Yea.
9 And it came to pass that he said unto me: Look, and behold that great and abominable church, which is the mother of abominations, whose founder is the devil.
10 And he said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the whore of all the earth.
11 And it came to pass that I looked and beheld the whore of all the earth, and she sat upon many waters; and she had dominion over all the earth, among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people.
12 And it came to pass that I beheld the church of the Lamb of God, and its numbers were few, because of the wickedness and abominations of the whore who sat upon many waters; nevertheless, I beheld that the church of the Lamb, who were the saints of God, were also upon all the face of the earth; and their dominions upon the face of the earth were small, because of the wickedness of the great whore whom I saw.
13 And it came to pass that I beheld that the great mother of abominations did gather together multitudes upon the face of all the earth, among all the nations of the Gentiles, to fight against the Lamb of God.
14 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld the power of the Lamb of God, that it descended upon the saints of the church of the Lamb, and upon the covenant people of the Lord, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they were armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory.
15 And it came to pass that I beheld that the wrath of God was poured out upon that great and abominable church, insomuch that there were wars and rumors of wars among all the nations and kindreds of the earth.
16 And as there began to be wars and rumors of wars among all the nations which belonged to the mother of abominations, the angel spake unto me, saying: Behold, the wrath of God is upon the mother of harlots; and behold, thou seest all these things—
17 And when the day cometh that the wrath of God is poured out upon the mother of harlots, which is the great and abominable church of all the earth, whose founder is the devil, then, at that day, the work of the Father shall commence, in preparing the way for the fulfilling of his covenants, which he hath made to his people who are of the house of Israel. (1 Ne 14)

The End Nears

When President Bush said, “Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists,” people could not imagine that in less than twelve years, that statement would cause Christians in America to stare in disbelief, as the assault upon the Bible and upon Christianity, under the guise of protecting Americans from the terrorism of Christian “extremists,” rather than Islamic extremists, would become more and more apparent.

But so it is. More and more, the division between the humble followers of Christ and the great and abominable church is taking shape. Culturally, politically and religiously, the battle lines are being drawn. Soon, it will be inescapably clear that there are save two churches only, and whosoever does not belong to the church of the Lamb of God must belong to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the whore of all the earth.

The bad news is that the wrath of God shall be poured out upon that great and abominable church, insomuch that there shall be wars and rumors of wars among all the nations and kindreds of the earth, but the good news is that the power of the Lamb of God, shall descend upon the saints of the church of the Lamb, and upon the covenant people of the Lord, who are scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they shall be armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory.

Already we can see the great and abominable church is gathering together multitudes upon the face of all the earth, among all the nations of the Gentiles, to fight against the Lamb of God.

Watchmen among the Christian community have documented the “counter reformation” efforts of the Jesuit order for instance, explaining how they have been alarmed at the ubiquitous nature of the ecumenical exploitation of a new “unity” concept, which abandons crucial and fundamental doctrinal differences between Catholics and other major Christian organizations, such as the Southern Baptist Convention and the Assembly of God denominations, for the sake of preserving cultural and political values, deemed crucial to Americans.

Nevertheless, they admit that the trend towards this “unbiblical unity,” as they characterize it, is likely to continue and even accelerate, due to escalating economic pressures and a reluctance of so many modern pastors and congregations to defend unpopular biblical principles in today’s environment of political correctness.

That this presents a huge problem to Christians determined to resist the “new unity” is clearly an understatement. As Randy White, a well-known Southern Baptist pastor put it recently,

It is a very difficult issue…, but I can tell you I’m not going missional, I’m not going transformational, I’m not going pragmatic, I’m not going secret sensitive, and I’m not going neo-calvanist (referring to popular precepts of men.)
If I stand all alone, then that’s where I’ll stand, with the word of God, because we can’t [just be unified in the essentials and have grace in the non-essentials], when the Bible tells me no, we’ve all got to know the same thing and believe the same thing. There are not two truths, when it comes to the scripture. It tells us one thing….
When it comes to Southern Baptist pastors like me, I would say that there’s going to be increasingly no space for us, no place, and we’re going to be increasingly uncomfortable with what we see and hear. (Brannon Howse Show, May 2, 2013)

This is very revealing. It should be obvious that the Christian church, the body of Christ, as it is referred to today by evangelical Christians, cannot be the basis for the gathering of God’s elect, when he shall set his hand again the second time to recover his people.

This is the day, yea, even the last time, that the servants of the Lord shall go forth in his power, to nourish and prune his vineyard; and after that the end soon comes, but we see that the Gentile churches are separating themselves from this holy work. They are uniting themselves with that great and abominable church, in large part.

Jesus also explained this in Mathew Chapter 24, when he taught his disciples, saying that the gospel of the kingdom would be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, before the end comes, and that wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together, referring to the gathering of his ancient covenant people to the Standard, the Ensign he promised to raise.

Yet, will the Lord perform this great work through the “great commission” of the Christian community today? It seems very unlikely if, as Pastor White laments, “there’s going to be increasingly no space for us, no place, and we’re going to be increasingly uncomfortable with what we see and hear.”

But the answer is clear: The Lord God of Israel will perform this marvelous work and wonder, for he shall make bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of their God, because, as Isaiah says, this people draw near him with their mouth, and with their lips do honour him, but [they] have removed their heart far from him, and their fear toward him is taught by the precept of men.

Hence, the Lord will fulfill his covenants, which he has made to his people, who are of the house of Israel, just as Moses promised them he would.

The fact, which the Gentiles must now come to terms with is that the only salvation remaining for them is to be identified in the same covenant and to worship at the same altar as Israel, because, as the prophet Nephi testified, while the Lord must judge the great and abominable church, pouring out his wrath upon it, at the same time, he will gather out his people to Zion, and the repentant Gentiles with them, that they may gird up their loins, looking forth for his coming in glory.

There are many more things to learn about the coming events of the latter days, leading up to the second coming of Christ, and, as the angel taught Nephi, though the knowledge of them has been corrupted by the great and abominable church, it has been preserved in its purity by the Lord and sealed up to come forth, when he sees fit, in his own due time:

18 And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me, saying: Look!
19 And I looked and beheld a man, and he was dressed in a white robe.
20 And the angel said unto me: Behold one of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
21 Behold, he shall see and write the remainder of these things; yea, and also many things which have been.
22 And he shall also write concerning the end of the world.
23 Wherefore, the things which he shall write are just and true; and behold they are written in the book which thou beheld proceeding out of the mouth of the Jew; and at the time they proceeded out of the mouth of the Jew, or, at the time the book proceeded out of the mouth of the Jew, the things which were written were plain and pure, and most precious and easy to the understanding of all men.
24 And behold, the things which this apostle of the Lamb shall write are many things which thou hast seen; and behold, the remainder shalt thou see.
25 But the things which thou shalt see hereafter thou shalt not write; for the Lord God hath ordained the apostle of the Lamb of God that he should write them.
26 And also others who have been, to them hath he shown all things, and they have written them; and they are sealed up to come forth in their purity, according to the truth which is in the Lamb, in the own due time of the Lord, unto the house of Israel.
27 And I, Nephi, heard and bear record, that the name of the apostle of the Lamb was John, according to the word of the angel.
28 And behold, I, Nephi, am forbidden that I should write the remainder of the things which I saw and heard; wherefore the things which I have written sufficeth me; and I have written but a small part of the things which I saw.
29 And I bear record that I saw the things which my father saw, and the angel of the Lord did make them known unto me.
30 And now I make an end of speaking concerning the things which I saw while I was carried away in the Spirit; and if all the things which I saw are not written, the things which I have written are true. And thus it is. Amen.

It seems apparent that the records that contain this sacred knowledge will most likely come forth, when the holy city of New Jerusalem has been built and the tabernacle of the Lord is there and he is in the midst of the people also, as they prepare for his glorious second coming and the ushering in of the promised millennium of peace, when they shall not teach every man his neighbor and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know him, from the least to the greatest. For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
